Biography

Isabel supports SSV’s operations, strategy, and investments in our London office. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from London Business School with a double concentration in Sustainability and Private Capital. Isabel also serves as a senior leader on the investments team of LBS’s Student Impact Investment Fund (SIIF), a student-led impact fund that invests in pre-seed to seed startups with venture-grade growth potential and measurable social or environmental impact. Alongside her studies, Isabel has worked as an investor with Food and AgTech investor Newland Syndicate and GTM strategy student consultant for ESG-risk management startup WieldMore.

With 8 years of experience in startup operations, Isabel’s expertise includes go-to-market strategy, business planning, and resource optimization, with a focus on scaling operations and accelerating business performance in high-growth startups. As Chief of Staff to the CEO of Series A startup Ephemeral Tattoo, Isabel supported the company’s retail expansion into five U.S. cities. As Director of Strategy & Operations at WeWork, she helped establish the Enterprise Client Solutions team, leading its international growth to 200 employees across five countries. Isabel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Brown University, where she was a Division I NCAA and Ivy League gold medalist on the Women’s Crew Team. She is a US citizen and has lived and worked in Seattle, Boston, New York, and London.

Fun Facts:

Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, Isabel spent her childhood hiking, skiing, and fishing. Now she takes her love of the outdoors to the city, where you can find her running or reading in Hyde Park on the weekends.
